What is ZockHier?: ZockHier is a platform for volleyball players in Germany to find courts, join open matches, and connect with other players and teams. It covers both beach and indoor volleyball, starting in Munich.
Is ZockHier free to use?: Yes — ZockHier is free. Browsing courts, joining matches and building a team profile are all free features. Some courts have their own access fees (rental, membership), which are set by the venue, not by ZockHier.
How do I join a match?: Open the Matches section on the web or in the app, find an upcoming match that has open spots, and tap "Join". You will receive a confirmation and the match will appear on your dashboard.
Can I host my own match?: Yes. Any registered athlete can create a match on any court. Set the time, choose a capacity limit (or leave it unlimited), add a description, and share the link. Participants are managed automatically — the waitlist promotes players into free spots when someone drops out.
How do teams work?: Teams are groups of athletes with a shared profile page. The team owner can add members and host matches under the team's name. Recurring weekly or bi-weekly sessions can be set up so your group shows up automatically in the schedule.
Is my personal data safe?: We follow German and EU data protection law (DSGVO). Your contact details stay private. Only your display name and preferred sports are shown to other players. Read our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Which devices are supported?: The web version works on any modern browser. The ZockHier app runs on Android and iOS. Your account, saved courts, and match history are synced across all devices.
